Joyce D. Griffith, 53, Pottstown Joyce D. Griffith, 53, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Manor Care-Pottstown. She was born September 20, 1963 in Pottstown to the late Harold C. and the late Patricia J. (Schaeffer) Griffith. Joyce was an Owen J. Roberts graduate and resided most of her life in the Elverson area. After graduation, Joyce attended Lansdale School of Business where she studied Accounting. She enjoyed her job as a cook for many years at the the Ridge Restaurant and was an avid reader. Joyce is survived by her brother, Joseph Griffith of Birdsboro. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 25, 2017 in Bethesda Baptist Church, 2140 Harmonyville Rd., Pottstown with the Rev. Bill Wexler officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Monday prior to the service in the Bethesda Baptist Church, Burial will be immediately following in the East Nantmeal Cemetery in Elverson.
