Ref: with thoughts of you at this time
Dear Cheryl:
Greetings on another overcast morning here at the “Land of Mt. Everest.” It appears that we are getting an early start to the annual monsoon.
I received word of Arlene’s passing here some days ago and have been thinking of and praying for you all in a special way. I was thinking about Arlene—and when I thought of her I couldn’t help but think of flowers. It was a nice surprise therefore to go “on line” and find that I could not only write to you…but also to be reminded of Arlene via the photograph I see here on this website. Wonderful!
I think that God had something very special in mind when back in the Book of Genesis he created a garden…and then put Adam and Eve to work in it. It must have been very therapeutic on occasions. I was thinking of the struggles I occasionally remember in Arlene’s life as I was growing up, and cannot help but imagine that she also found immense refreshment and Communion with God in her garden. Wonderful! That, regrettably, is something our 21-Century lifestyle has largely left fallen to the wayside, in the name of “development.”
I want you to know that I will continue to be thinking of you as you remember and celebrate Arlene’s life this coming Tuesday. Please feel free to share this brief note with any family members who may remember me. If you are interested; you can see a bit more about what we are doing here at the website noted below.
Warmly,
For Sushma, Shova, Bethsaba & myself,
Dale
