Joan Rosen, 80, passed away Saturday April 18,2026.  Born October 11, 1945 in Washington DC to the late Clinton and Helen Trantas .  Mother to six boys, Kevin, Tim, Sean, Brian, Keith, and Patrick who preceded her in death.  She is survived by her 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  Joan found joy in life's simple comforts.  Spending time with friends and family, knitting beautiful blankets and clothing for those she loved, and sewing with care and creativity.  She adored her cats, who brought her endless companionship and happiness.She also loved the beach deeply, where she could relax and soak in the beauty of the ocean.  Joan was a good mother and will be remembered with love and forever cherished by all who knew her.
