Louis S. DiGuiseppe, 67
Louis S. DiGuiseppe, passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 8, 1958, the only son of the late Luigi DiGuiseppe and Barbara (Reider) DiGuiseppe.
A lifelong resident of Spring City, Louis was a proud graduate of Spring-Ford High School, Class of 1976, where he was active in both football and drama club. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving his country honorably for five years aboard submarines. During his service, he traveled to Europe and spent extended periods at sea.
After returning to his hometown, Louis worked for Jones Motor before dedicating many years to Custer’s Bus Company. As a bus driver, he faithfully served the families of the Spring-Ford community until his retirement. He was deeply committed to his community, serving more than eight years on Spring City Borough Council and later as Mayor during the borough’s 150th anniversary celebration.
Louis is survived by his devoted mother, Barbara DiGuiseppe; his partner of more than 20 years, Connie Parke; and Connie’s children, Paige and Brooke Blackwell and Miranda Parke, whom Louis loved and treated as his own. He also cherished the family dogs, Nikki, Molly, and Bob, who brought him great joy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Prayer Service on Friday February 27, 2026 at 7pm, Rev. John Gibbons will officiate..
