Jayne Lee Anton, 83, of Phoenixville
Jayne Lee Anton, 83, of Phoenixville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Born on December 5, 1942, in Meadville, she was one of three siblings and the daughter of the late Wayne and Henrietta (Cutter) Mook. Jayne was a lifelong learner who attended Grove City College, where she studied education, and later earned her master’s degree in education from Beaver College.
Jayne dedicated her career to teaching in the Lower Moreland School District, where she touched the lives of many students. In her free time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, playing Gin Rummy, Bridge, making jewelry, cooking, and spending time with the household pets. She also loved to travel by motor home and was able to visit many places throughout her life, including Finland, Holland, Praha, Belgium.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Erik Strohlein and Marnie Strohlein; her siblings, Wayne Mook and Trish Buzard; and her cherished grandchild, Alejandro Strohlein. She was preceded in death by Jeffery H. Strohlein and Aaron Anton.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday 10am-12pm, January 30, 2026. at R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
