Obituary of Michelle Tanya Brown

Michelle Tanya Brown, 62, of Phoenixville, passed away on December 23, 2025.

Michelle was born on November 5, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Cleophus Howard and Charlotte Whitfield. She was a graduate of William Penn High School and went on to work as a medical messenger at Holy Redeemer Hospital, where she was known for her reliability, generosity, encouragement and dedication.

Michelle enjoyed traveling and shopping, but her greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Being a “g-mom” was one of her proudest and most treasured roles.

She is survived by her loving mother, Charlotte Whitfield; her daughter, Sha’rah Fuller (Anthony); her brother, Derrick Whitfield (Sandra); her sisters, Audrey Butler, Yvette Lewis and Tywanda Butler (Raynard Thompson); and her beloved grandchildren, Maya, Taharah, DaVeed, Athena, Anthony, and Rhyis. She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Michelle was preceded in death by her son, Kyle-Cortez Davis; her brother, Darren Whitfield.
