Patsy Lynn Stierly, 62, of Birdsboro

Patsy Lynn Stierly, 62, beloved mother, daughter, aunt, cherished friend, and most importantly Mimi, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, at Reading Hospital.

Born and raised in Bucktown, Patsy was one of four children of the late Edward and Shirley (Halterman) Stierly. She was a proud graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. For more than 35 years, she worked as a dedicated candy packer at Godiva Chocolatier, bringing sweetness to many lives through her work.

Patsy found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and her extended family. She was always ready to offer advice, a helping hand, or a comforting hug—no questions asked, though a lecture might follow! She loved her granddaughter Sadie Mae like no other, and she welcomed all the children into her life with open arms, always there to guide, babysit, and support whenever, wherever needed.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Amanda McCabe and husband Collin; siblings: Edward Stierly, Rick Stierly, and Sharon (Stierly) Shantz; grandchildren: Sadie Mae and Catherine, as well as an abundance of chosen and extended family.
