I spent my childhood growing up with Heather, seeing her every day for 7 years after first meeting her in 6th grade. Our click of friends was thick throughout high school. We stayed close until life happened and our click grew apart. I’ve described Heather to a few people over the past week and I’ve described her this way. “She was a good one. She never wavered and she was always real. You always knew what you were going to get with Heather.” Because of this, I’m able to still describe her this way with confidence. In our current world, where you never know who you are really talking to and what someone is really thinking about you, you never had to worry about that with Heather. This world is in need more than ever of people like Heather. My heart hurts along with so many others as our friend is gone way too soon.
