Obituary of Phyllis A. Kline
Please share a memory of Phyllis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Phyllis D’Orazaio Kline of Blue Bell, PA, 82, died on June 20, 2025, her wedding anniversary.
She will be remembered for her generosity in so many ways. Nobody ever left her home without eating something or taking home a tray of pizzelles.
She and her husband James were married 61 years.
She was a longtime member of the Woman’s Club of Whitpain. She was an enthusiastic trapshooter and was a member of Two Century Trap Club.
She loved to entertain, travel and anything food-related: cooking, dining out and watching Food Network. Her favorite place on Earth was Cape May, New Jersey. Phyllis and Jim enjoyed motorcycle rides and later trips in their Miata together. She was an enthusiastic and frequently disappointed Phillies and Eagles fan.
She graduated from Pierce Business College and worked at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and later at Montgomery County Intermediate Unit as a teacher’s aide.
She is survived by her sons James Bradford and Joseph Barton (Lucy); grandchildren Maxwell, Chloe and Leo; her brother Dominick D’Orazio and sister-in-law Susan Kopplin. She is predeceased by her husband Jim and her parents Joseph and Philomena D’Orazio.
Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church on July 1st at 9:30am with funeral mass at 10:30am, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475. Burial will be private.
Please no flowers. Contributions to the Woman’s Club of Whitpain, c/o Treasurer, 306 Valley Brook Road, Ambler PA 19002, or The Patrician Society of Central Norristown (patriciansociety.org) in Phyllis’s memory are gratefully appreciated.
Mom/Mimi/Pfoof, your tiny body belied your strength. You fought so hard for so long. Now it is time to rest. We are grateful for everything and miss you so much.
