Obituary of Philip W. Beechwood

Philip Williams Beechwood, 84, of Honey Brook PA, passed away peacefully on February 13th. 

 

Philip was born on November 17th, 1940 to Mary Winifred Beechwood and George Eugene Beechwood SR in Philadelphia PA. Philip spent his early years living at Pickering Valley Farm in Chester Springs, PA. Philip attended Malvern Preparatory School and went on to graduate college from Saint Joseph’s University. 

 

Throughout Philip’s working years Philip was employed as a salesman for building and construction companies.  In his retirement years he took great pride in mowing the greens at Stonewall Country Club. Philip served in the National Guard, as well as was a member of The Chester County Fish and Game Association where he grew his love for hunting and fishing. Each year Philip traveled to Canada with lifelong friends to peruse his passion of hunting and fishing. 

 

Philip was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Eugene Beechwood SR, as well as his brother George Eugene Beechwood JR. He is survived by his sister Joan Beechwood O’Donnell (Thomas O’Donnell JR.) His niece and nephew Alicia (Gordon) O’Donnell Walker, Thomas Sean (Michelle) O’Donnell. As well as his three great nieces and nephews Thomas Walker, Madison O’Donnell and Sean Patrick O’Donnell 

 

A service will be held at on February 21st, 2025 at Honeybrook Living Associates and Church 3940 Horsehoe Pike, Honey Brook PA. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:15 with a church service to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Honeybrook Living Associates and Church
