Valentine M. Willis, 82,
Valentine M. Willis, 82, the husband of Gloria (Joseph) Willis, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at home with his loving family.
He was born February 14, 1938, hence the name “Valentine” in Port of Spain, Trinidad to the late George and the late Sybil Ernestine Willis. Valentine was the oldest of 10 children. He was educated in Trinidad and met the love of his life Gloria at the young age of 16. Gloria and Valentine were able to find employment in the United States and ended up marrying and raising their family in the Bristol – Levittown area. He was a trade electrician and worked in New York and New Jersey. He cherished his family and family was always first. Valentine was generous hearted and when you knew him you felt accepted and loved.
Valentine leaves behind his adoring wife, Gloria (Joseph) Willis and seven sons:
Earl, George (husband of Paulette), Victor (husband of Edith), Ian (husband of Marjorie) Kirt, Terrence (husband of Jill) and Steven (husband of Melissa)
Nine Siblings: Laurenza, Beulah, George, Mervin and Betty; four preceded him in death: Antoinette, Derrick, Anthony and Michael;
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday August 22, 2020 in the Valley Forge Baptist Temple, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville with Pastor Scott Wendal officiating. You may view the service online at: https://vfbt.live/ Viewing in the Church will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, August 22 prior to the service at Valley Forge Baptist Temple.
