Our condolences on the loss of Greta. I am the oldest granddaughter of her 2nd husband, Harold Kulp, and Greta was a huge blessed part of our family later in our years. She definitely brought much joy, caring, nurturing and love to my grandfather. She loved and enjoyed when both my kids would visit. I was always puttering about and visiting her and my grandfather who I was close to along with my mother Marcia. Greta was a top notch beautiful lady with a large heart and much soul.
Crystal, Mike, Emily, David and our granddaughter Aryah

I met Greta the day she moved in to Keystone Villa. My name is Wendy, i am one of the evening receptionists, and I was the first one she encountered when she walked through the door. She came up to the desk and started complaining about her family, and bringing her there. They were standing behind her, and I motioned for her to turn around. When she turned back around to me, she of course was shocked, and I said to her "do you know what we call that", she said "what?", I said "busted!"...she just started to laugh. Little did I know that that was the beginning of an amazing friendship/bond that we would form. It took her a little time to adjust to the place, but she sure fit right in! Greta was known by everyone, she loved everyone, and she herself was loved by everyone.
Greta had become like a second mother to me. She told me I was her best friend. Many of the staff would call her grandma, but not me, I called her girlfriend. Every night that I worked she would come down to the desk after her dinner and sit with me til the end of my shift. I'd walk her to the elevator, hug her goodnight, and she'd always ask "when are you coming back". Her face would get sad, knowing I was going home. When I would come in for my shift and she would see me, her eyes would light up, she'd get a big smile, and would say "ooh how long are you here for". And every day that I worked she would say "hey, how's the kids" (meaning my cats), she never missed a beat! She always got a kick out of hearing my stories about my cats. When the pandemic hit and they had to be quarantined to their rooms, i'd go up after my shift on my own time and visit with her and say my goodnight. The last couple months I had been helping with the activities, and her and I had just had so much fun together. I miss her tremendously! It has been hard to be at work and not have her there. I have cried many tears. I have this photo of us that she wanted me to take back in February, and I have a cat figurine that she had given to me and wanted me to have. I had found the perfect photo frame for our picture, and since her passing i take that photo and the figurine to work with me, set them on the desk for my shift, and then bring them home to set on my kitchen counter. The Villa is most definitely not the same without her. I'd like to thank her family for sharing her with us. What an absolute pleasure it has been to know her, i am honored. I will forever be grateful that she was a part of my life. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish always. I will miss her forever and a day. I've got a special angel now in Heaven. I love you Greta!

Wendy, you nailed it. Greta was a favorite part of my job. I looked forward to her joining our activities. She contributed much joy and really touched my heart. I loved Greta very much. We’d see each other and I’d call out “Hey lady!!!” She inspired others to participate and had a wonderful attitude. I’m very sorry to hear of Greta’s passing. With my utmost respect, I could just hear Greta say in her endearing way she would end her little chats..“Whatta ya gonna do?”
(She’s made an impression.)

So very sorry for your loss. I only knew her for a little bit but she was a wonderful woman who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed talking about them and she always had a beautiful smile on her face. She will be greatly missed but remember the memories and the wonderful life she had. Keeping you all in thoughts and prayers.
