Dear Travers Family, A little personal history: Husband Fred rented an apartment in my parents' large home on 48th Street in S.W. Philly back in the 1960's. Fred, and roommate Frank Mead, were close family friends since I was 5 years old. My parents, Pearl and John, Fred and Frank, would all stay up late and drink coffee around the kitchen table talking about lofty plans for the future. When Fred married Marie, she became a good friend of the McKelvie family too. My mom, Pearl, lamented losing touch with Marie in the past several years. (Pearl just died March 5, 2020 at Bryn Mawr Hospital as well). Along with me, my siblings John and Laura send their sincere condolences on your loss of Marie. She was always so welcoming and loving when we visited their home in Drexel Hill many years ago. Prayers go out to you all.
